It is my privilege to be here at Aberdeen First Presbyterian Church serving you in the name of Jesus our Lord. This is especially true in this unique time in our country and world. These are challenges days for many reasons. Still, we are glad to be able to bare witness to our faith.
Yet, I am convinced that we need Jesus Christ more today than ever. It is a time to make our witness known and our commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ clear.
We are going through our records as I have been here for a few months. We want to take this opportunity to invite you to make a commitment to being an official part of our ministry.
We are therefore offering a new members class on May 11th at 7:00pm by Zoom. If you are interested in becoming a member, we would ask you to contact us at office@aberdeenpres.org, or by phone at 360.532.1330. We will send you further information and a zoom invite when we get closer to the 11th. So, please make sure we have your most current contact information. Likewise, if you are unable to participate in the zoom new member class for any reason, please contact us at the above listed options and we will make special arrangements for you to join.
As we are in the transition of Winter to Spring, so too we are in a transition in our ministry together. This is an exciting time to be connected to one another in fellowship, worship and service to Jesus Christ our Lord. So, whether you wish to join us now or continue to participate as you are, we pray that the Spirit of God may fill you with new life and purpose as we journey in faith together.
